Sonett nr.1

Sonett nr.1

See kleit on ikka tõusnud sulle pähe
kui mürgilõhna hajutav jasmiin:
eks pesitse kuldlubadusi siin siidvoltides,
mis nagu roosilehe peenpehmest koest.

Kui armuke, see mähe
mu liikmeid silib; kaela valge liin,
kus hõõgumas su suudluste rubiin,
su silmi pimestab kui kallis ehe.

Kuuvalgena loorkangaskäistest helgib
mu käsivarte rõõmust tuksuv paar,
kui hõisates sind kaelusta nad tõstan.

Tean, kuis su süda ihkab, ihu nälgib
mind rüübata… Oh, võluv armuaar,
kuis küll su lämmastavat küllust kestan.

Sonett nr.1 (approximate English translation)

This dress is still raised on your head
as a jasmine that dissipates the poisonous smell:
Golden promises nest here in silky folds,
which are like rose petals’ softest web.

As a lover, this wrap fondles my limbs;
white line of the neck,
where the rubies of your kisses glow,
dazzling my eyes like an expensive jewel.

As moonlight from vale fabric sleeves shine
the pair of my arms, pulsating out of joy,
when rejoicing out of embracing you I raise them.

I know how your heart yearns, your body starves
to drink me.. Oh, charming treasure of love,
how indeed your suffocating fulness lasts in me.
